Seeking a leader to manage and innovate infrastructure and IT services supporting R&D engineering teams. This role involves strategic planning, technical direction, team management, and collaboration across the global organization and key external partners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage critical infrastructure for R&D engineering teams.
- Drive technical innovation and align platform engineering solutions with strategic goals.
- Oversee IT services, establishing standards, policies, and procedures.
- Hire, manage, and develop a highly skilled technical team.
- Collaborate across teams and external partners for high-quality service delivery.
- Prepare and manage IT budgets and resource allocation.
- Create risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans.
- Domestic and international travel up to 10%.
Requirements:
- 10+ years in IT infrastructure for engineering teams.
- Expertise across IT domains (e.g., systems engineering, cloud computing, security, networking).
- Leadership experience building technical teams.
- Strong knowledge of platform technologies, industry trends, and IT processes (e.g., SDLC, JSOX).
- Experience with Windows, Linux, macOS, and Microsoft tools (Entra ID, Intune, Office365).
- Familiarity with cloud and container orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes, AWS, Terraform).
- BS/MS in engineering, computer science, or equivalent experience.
